The Effect

Two young volunteers, Connie and Tristan, take part in a clinical trial for a new antidepressant and fall for each other as their doses increase. Their relationship unsettles the study and forces both the participants and the supervising doctors to question where brain chemistry ends and genuine feeling begins.
