About Stageify

Stageify has two parts. It's the tool theatre groups use to run a production — auditions, casting, rehearsals, roles, resources, and shows, all in one place. And it's a free public directory, built from what those groups publish, so audiences and performers can find auditions and shows without checking a dozen different sites.

Running a production

Organisations use Stageify to manage a production end to end: post auditions and handle applications, cast and organise roles and groups, plan rehearsals, manage resources, and schedule shows — all in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets and group chats.

The public directory

Everything a group chooses to make public also shows up here, free for anyone to browse: open auditions, upcoming shows, every group listed, and the works they've staged — searchable and filterable by region and type.

Where the information comes from

Most listings come from what groups already publish on their own websites, gathered by our crawler (see About our crawler) and reviewed before anything goes live. Community members can also point us at a listing that's missing using "Submit a missing listing" on the groups or works page.

Kept accurate

Every listing links back to the group's own page, so you can always check the source. If something is wrong, outdated, or missing, use the "Suggest an improvement" button on that listing's page — a person reviews every suggestion before anything changes.

Not the official channel

Stageify indexes what groups publish elsewhere; it isn't a substitute for their own website, box office, or social channels. For the latest on tickets, cast changes, or cancellations, always check the source.
