About the work
Ferdinand von Schirach's courtroom drama Terror puts military pilot Lars Koch on trial after he shoots down a passenger aircraft hijacked by terrorists to prevent an attack on a packed football stadium. The play examines the weighing of human lives, state responsibility and human dignity. The audience acts as the jury and decides at the end whether Koch is guilty or not guilty.
