About the work
Stück Plastik is a satirical comedy by Marius von Mayenburg about an affluent family that hires domestic worker Jessica and draws her into the art world surrounding Ulrike's employer, Serge Haulupa. The play explores tensions between ideals and everyday behaviour, labour, class and art. It premiered at Berlin's Schaubühne in 2015.
