About the work

Körners Vormittag is a short comedy by Friedrich Schiller, written as a birthday play for his friend Christian Gottfried Körner. Körner tries to spend a morning working and preparing for his obligations but is continually interrupted by visitors, errands and domestic concerns. The play was later published under the title Ich habe mich rasieren lassen.
