About the work
In Daheim is am schönsten, the Schiefe Bahn bowling club travels to Italy for an outing that lurches from one mishap to the next. A rival club has already occupied the bowling alley, and a confrontation with the Carabinieri creates further trouble. Fitzgerald Kusz's play also exists in several dialect versions, including the Franconian Derhamm is derhamm.
