About the work
The comedy follows the young married couple Brummer after an unexpected lottery win. Their new wealth brings relatives, an opportunistic estate agent and the staff of their new home into their lives, including the butler James. Misunderstandings and new social expectations drive the action. The full-length play is structured in three acts around a single living-room set.
