About this production
Lace Market Theatre stages Jean Genet's one-act play The Maids in its Studio, directed by Nik Hedges. Set in France in 1947, the production centres on servant sisters Claire and Solange and the ritual role-playing through which they impersonate their wealthy employer, Madame.
