About this production
Kilmacud Musical Society stages the Irish premiere of Pirates! The Penzance Musical at dlr Mill Theatre Dundrum in April 2027. The musical reimagines Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance in 1880 New Orleans, with a new book by Rupert Holmes and music shaped by jazz, blues and Caribbean influences.
