About this production
Jeugdtheater Hofplein speelde De weglopers in 1991 tijdens het Utrechtse jeugdtheaterfestival Stuk-lezen. De voorstelling was gebaseerd op het gelijknamige jeugdboek van Ruth Thomas over Nathan en Julia, twee zeer verschillende kinderen die samen weglopen en tijdens hun reis naar elkaar toegroeien.
