About this production
Your Time To Shine stages Footloose The Musical at Towngate Theatre in Basildon from 29 April to 1 May 2027. The amateur youth production is performed by young people and features the musical based on the 1984 film.

Open auditions for performers aged 6–21 take place on 21 October 2026 from 18:00–21:00 at Towngate Theatre, Basildon, and on 25 October 2026 from 11:00–15:00 at Noak Bridge Village Hall, Basildon. New and existing Your Time To Shine members may audition in singing, dancing and acting. Registration is required and spaces are limited; no application deadline is published.
