About the work

YOU-The City is a site-specific play by Fiona Templeton for an audience of one person at a time. First produced in New York in 1988, it sends each participant on an individual journey through public and private places in the city, meeting a sequence of performers who appear to know something about them. The work was later recreated in several European cities, including Rotterdam in 2001.
