Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is a tragicomedy in two acts in which Vladimir and Estragon wait by a country road for the elusive Godot. Their repeated conversations and encounters with Pozzo, Lucky and a messenger transform waiting into an exploration of time, memory, hope and the absurdity of existence.
