About the work

A one-act play by Ans Schilders about Berend and his mother, who is developing dementia. Berend wants to record her life while he still can, while his mother has strong ideas of her own about her past, her approaching death and other people's interference. With humour and discomfort, the play explores the changing relationship between mother and son.
