About the work
In a rural Irish pub, four men spend an evening trading stories with Valerie, a newcomer to the area. Their tales of folklore and unsettling encounters gradually give way to Valerie’s own deeply personal story, shifting the evening toward grief, regret and the possibility of human connection.
