About the work
The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? is a play by Edward Albee about successful architect Martin and his family, whose apparently settled life collapses after Martin reveals a relationship with a goat. First performed in 2002, the drama examines love, social taboos, tolerance and the limits of moral judgment.
