About the work
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical is a full-length musical adaptation of Barbara Robinson’s holiday story. When the unruly Herdman children take over their church’s Christmas pageant, the community is forced to reconsider both the children and the familiar Nativity story. The score and libretto combine comedy with themes of family, empathy and belonging.
