About the work

Sunset Boulevard is a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black and Christopher Hampton, based on Billy Wilder's film of the same name. It follows faded silent-film star Norma Desmond and young screenwriter Joe Gillis, who becomes entangled in her determination to return to the screen.
