About the work

“Sein oder Nichtsein” is a stage comedy by Nick Whitby based on Ernst Lubitsch’s film “To Be or Not to Be.” In Warsaw in 1939, a theatre ensemble uses disguises, deception and acting to expose a traitor and protect the Polish resistance during the German occupation.
