About the work

In Schlußchor, Botho Strauß brings fifteen people together in three acts around seeing, being seen, and recent German history. A group photograph, an obsessive act of observation, and a meeting shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall become situations in which personal alienation and historical upheaval intersect.
