About the work
Runnin’ Blue is a youth play by Anouk Saleming about chance, choices and the extent to which people can shape their own fate. Veerle is racing across the city to reach Schiphol before her boyfriend Afram leaves for Ghana; along the way she encounters other young people whose decisions intersect with hers. The story repeatedly returns to the same short stretch of time, showing how small changes can lead events in different directions.
