About the work

Rhinocéros is an absurdist play by Eugène Ionesco in which the inhabitants of a town turn into rhinoceroses one by one. As conformity and group pressure grow stronger, Bérenger tries to resist the collective transformation. The play examines mass behaviour, ideology and the preservation of individual humanity.
