About the work
Revolutionary Road is a stage adaptation of Richard Yates's novel of the same name. Frank and April Wheeler try to escape their conventional life and the expectations that shape it, but their plan to move to Paris places growing pressure on their marriage and on how they see themselves.
Jacob Derwig adapted the novel for the stage. The Dutch text uses Marijke Emeis's translation.
