Rent a Friend

Sarah is expecting a visit from her father, who is determined to meet her fiancé. Since no such fiancé exists, she hires a man through an agency to play the part. Instead of the candidate she expects, the much younger Gabriel arrives and has to rescue the situation with increasingly elaborate improvisations and invented stories. Folke Braband's comedy turns the deception into a game about appearances, expectations and how closely any of the characters themselves stick to the truth.
