About the work
In this Bavarian adaptation of the farce Pension Schöller, former farmer Josef Hallberger wants to visit a psychiatric institution because he plans to open a sanatorium himself. His nephew Albert instead takes him to a soirée at Pension Schaller and presents its eccentric guests as patients. When the guests later turn up at Hallberger's farm, misunderstandings and complications multiply.
