About the work

Arthur Kopit's absurdist dark comedy follows domineering Madame Rosepettle, who arrives at a luxury Caribbean hotel with her timid son Jonathan and the coffin containing her late husband. The arrival of young Rosalie puts the suffocating mother-son relationship under pressure.
