About the work
Mort is Stephen Briggs' 1992 stage adaptation of Terry Pratchett's 1987 Discworld novel of the same name, the fourth in the series and the first to centre on the character Death. On a world that is flat as a pizza and carried through space on the back of a giant turtle, the clumsy young Mort is offered a very special job.
