About the work

Ken Ludwig’s comedy Moon Over Buffalo follows George and Charlotte Hay, fading stage actors touring Buffalo in the 1950s with Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives in repertory. When they learn that film director Frank Capra may attend a matinee and offer them a chance at Hollywood, professional ambition, marital strain and backstage confusion collide in a fast-moving farce.
