About the work
Mon crime ! is a crime comedy by Georges Berr and Louis Verneuil, first staged at the Théâtre des Variétés in Paris in 1934. Madeleine Verdier, a penniless young woman suspected of murder, chooses to confess to a crime she did not commit and turns the case into a path to fame, until the truth threatens her new success.
