About the work
Fenna Jalving is wealthy and has health problems. Her daughters-in-law would rather prevent her from going to a health resort, as they themselves have financial problems and are hoping for an inheritance. When Fenna returns home looking as good as new, they try to steer the situation according to their own ideas.
