About the work
Minor Swing is set in the fictional West Flemish village of Rottegem in 1969, where the annual fair brings the community together. The arrival of a young fairground woman exposes tensions, prejudice and group pressure. Wim Chielens wrote the play as narrative theatre for a large cast, with music and dance forming part of its performance style.
