About the work
Michel in der Suppenschüssel is a family play based on Astrid Lindgren's stories about Emil of Lönneberga. When Michel gets his head stuck in a soup tureen while trying to finish the soup, a series of well-meant ideas and chaotic mishaps follows at Katthult. The stage version is intended for young audiences and was first performed in 1985 at Theater für Kinder in Hamburg.
