About the work

A surreal comic play about Tilly, whose conspicuous melancholy makes everyone around her fall in love with her. When Tilly unexpectedly becomes happy, the emotional balance of her admirers collapses and her hairdresser Frances becomes so melancholy that she turns into an almond. The farce follows Tilly as she tries to restore her friend and make sense of the havoc caused by happiness.
