About the work
Tom Lanoye’s stage adaptation of the Medea myth begins with the meeting of Medea and Jason and follows their relationship through to the family tragedy. The play combines elements from Apollonius of Rhodes’ Argonautica with Euripides’ Medea and premiered in Antwerp in 2001.
