Mama, kijk, zonder handen! is a play by Hugo Claus in which a young poet and those around him become entangled in a burlesque mix of family interests, opportunism and a longing for freedom. The comedy carries a more serious undercurrent about vulnerability and the difficulty of fitting into the rules imposed by one's surroundings.
