About the work
In Bluebeard’s secret chamber, the women he seduced and killed recount how they were drawn in, trapped and unable to escape. By replaying their stories, they imagine alternative endings and collectively search for forms of resistance and liberation. The play is a collective work directed by Lisa Guez, freely inspired by Charles Perrault’s tale.
