In The Sisters-in-Law, Germaine Lauzon wins one million trading stamps and invites members of her family as well as neighbours to help her paste them into booklets. As the women gather, jealousy, frustration and social tensions come to the surface. Michel Tremblay’s play, first staged in 1968, is a major work of Québécois theatre and is written for a cast of fifteen women.
