About the work
After three years of unemployment, Gérard finally lands a job in Indonesia and invites the man responsible for confirming his appointment to dinner. With his wife Colette, he turns to their neighbour Alexandre, a communications specialist, to remake their home, habits and image before the decisive guest arrives. David Pharao’s comedy examines appearances, compromise and the humiliation surrounding a return to work.
