About the work
In L'Hiver sous la table, Florence Michalon, a poorly paid translator in Paris, sublets the space beneath her work table to Dragomir, an impoverished immigrant and cobbler from Eastern Europe. Their unusual domestic arrangement drives Roland Topor's comedy about intimacy, migration and social conventions.
