About the work
L'Augmentation is an absurdist play by Georges Perec about a person attempting to ask the person responsible for their department for a salary increase. The text systematically unfolds the possible steps, setbacks and alternatives involved in this simple request according to the logic of an organisational chart, so that the repetitions and branching paths continually amplify the bureaucratic situation.
