About the work
Valère Novarina’s first play, L’Atelier volant transforms the world of work into a theatrical mechanism in which employers, employees, machines, objects and language confront one another around production, authority and freedom. The play was first staged in 1974 in a production directed by Jean-Pierre Sarrazac.
