About the work

Koning Odysseus is a stage play by Imme Dros, based on her retelling of Homer's Odyssey in Odysseus, een man van verhalen. The play focuses on Odysseus' return to Ithaca, where his wife Penelope and son Telemachus have had to deal with persistent suitors during his long absence. Dros wrote the play for Theatergroep Teneeter, which first staged it in the 1995/1996 season.
