About the work
Komt een vrouw bij de dokter is Koen Caris's stage adaptation of Kluun's novel of the same name. When Carmen is diagnosed with breast cancer, her relationship with Stijn comes under severe pressure. As she faces illness and treatment, Stijn escapes into nightlife and an affair. The play explores love, infidelity, guilt, grief and saying goodbye.
