About the work
The comedy follows Karla and Charlotte, two friends struggling with differing ideas of self-worth and social expectations. After the death of her domineering mother, Karla must fulfil a condition in the will and appear on a theatre stage within six months; Charlotte is simultaneously grappling intensely with her ideals of beauty and slimness. The play is written for two performers and is available in versions of approximately 60 and 80 minutes.
