About the work

A tragicomic monologue about Ingo Sassmann, a person who operates the theatre curtain and unexpectedly finds himself in front of an audience after the planned performance of Hamlet was cancelled. As he begins to talk about life behind the curtain, he looks back on his own past as a person who acted, and the boundary between theatre and reality becomes increasingly uncertain.
