About the work

Het Kaartenhuis is a tragicomedy by Lode Ansoms about the Verbruggen family. Father Roland dreams of owning a house, while his wife Marianne has different priorities and tensions within the family mount. When an old mistake resurfaces and tragedy strikes, Roland's dream threatens to collapse along with the family's fragile balance.
