About the work
Hadestown: Teen Edition is a full-length youth adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell’s sung-through musical. It follows the intertwined stories of Orpheus and Eurydice and of Hades and Persephone, drawing on Greek myth through folk- and jazz-influenced music. The edition adjusts vocal arrangements, expands the worker chorus and modifies some material for teen performers and family audiences.
