About the work

Finian's Rainbow is a musical comedy about Irishman Finian McLonergan and his daughter Sharon, who arrive in the fictional American state of Missitucky with a stolen pot of gold. Romance, fantasy and social satire follow as a leprechaun tries to recover the treasure and a racist senator encounters the consequences of magic.
