About the work
Ewig jung is a song drama by Erik Gedeon about a former theatre ensemble living decades later in their old theatre building, now used as a residence for senior performers. Through memories of earlier roles and a repertoire of well-known songs, the group keeps its stage spirit alive. The work premiered at Hamburg's Thalia Theater on 10 January 2001 under the title Thalia Vista Social Club.
