This musical, historically framed comedy traces changes in women's lives and rights in France from the 1950s to the present. Three family lines of women unfold across several generations, while Simone acts as a recurring guide who places their experiences in their social and political context.
The play combines everyday scenes, humour, songs and historical reference points around subjects including women's autonomy, contraception, abortion and equality.
